About Us

The Sprayberry Choral Program is an Award Winning Program that is part of the Fine Arts Department at Sprayberry High School.  The Choral Program consists of four ensembles that meet during the school day and several smaller ensembles, quartets, trios, and select groups that meet after school.  The Sprayberry Choral program takes pride in creating Choral Excellence and presents five major concerts per year along with many other extra-curricular performances.  The Choral Ensembles consistently receive superior ratings at the GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations, competitions and festivals.  In November 2022, Sprayberry's Bella Voce received 2nd Place at the Southern Invitational Choral Festival in the Treble Choir category at Georgia Southern University. In the 2023-2024 school year, Bella Voce was selected as a featured choir to perform at the Georgia ACDA and GMEA In-service conferences. Additionally, members of the Sprayberry Choral program were invited to sing back-up for Susan Boyle, the 2009 "Britain's Got Talent" winner, at Atlanta's Symphony Hall. Members of the ​Sprayberry Choral Program represent Sprayberry High School and the Cobb County School District at District Honor Choir, Georgia All-State Chorus, and many other choral events.

​Our Choirs

Sprayberry Chamber Singers

This is our top choir at Sprayberry. This advanced mixed choir meets during 1st block and is open to all singers Sprayberry, pending an audition process.  Chamber Singers performs during the Fall Concert, Masterworks Concert, LGPE performances, and Spring Concert, and other special performances that may arise during the school year.

Concert Choir

The Sprayberry Concert Choir is a beginning level ensemble for all freshmen and all students new to choir. This class meets during 4th block. This choir is great for students who sang in middle school chorus and for students looking to try choir for the very first time! Concert Choir performs during the Fall Concert, Masterworks Concert, LGPE performances, and the Spring Concert. 

Treble Singers

Treble Singers is our intermediate level choir for all sopranos and altos at Sprayberry.  This choir is perfect for sopranos and altos that have some previous choir experience. Treble Singers performs during the Fall Concert, Masterworks Concert, LGPE performances, and the Spring Concert.
